The number that is not on this table

Patients referred late frequently arrive too unwell to complete an evaluation, and at that point the question of cost never arises because transplant is no longer an option. An assessment is the cheapest part of this entire process and it is the one that determines whether the rest is even available to you.

Registering on the Karnataka waiting list

Deceased-donor organ allocation in Karnataka is run by Jeevasarthakathe, the Karnataka State Organ and Tissue Transplant Organisation, which sits under the national framework administered by NOTTO.
